May 7 (Monday) to May 11 (Friday): Teacher Appreciation Week. Many thanks for the many things you do!

May 7 (Monday) to May 18 (Friday): Core testing continues. Make sure your students get plenty of rest, eats a good breakfast and is here on time.

May 10 (Thursday): Fishing field trip. Permission notes will be sent home with all the details.

May 15 (Tuesday): Walking field trip to Sand Ridge Park. Permission notes will be sent home with all the details.

May 17 (Thursday): 2nd grade patriotic program @ 6:00 PM.

May 18 (Friday): 6th grade awards assembly @ 2:00 PM. Best dress is requested.

May 21 (Monday): Choir assembly @ 9:00 AM.

May 22 (Tuesday): Awards assembly. 1st - 3rd grades will be honored at 9:00 AM and 4th and 5th grades at 2:00 PM.

May 22 (Tuesday): Choir concert @ 6:00 PM. Come hear the sweet sounds of our awesome Valley View Choir.

May 23 (Wednesday): Kindergarten graduation @ 9:30 AM. Our little ones are on their way to FIRST GRADE!! Please have your child dress in their best clothes. We will be sending home a reminder invitation as it gets closer. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate your child's success!

May 24 (Thursday): Field day. More details will be sent home about this fun-filled day of activities.

May 25 (Friday): Last day of school. School is out @ 1:15 PM. Report cards will be sent home.

Lunch Money—As the shcool year is quickly coming to an end, ALL NEGATIVE LUNCH ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL!! "No emergency meals" will be provided. If necessary, your student will need to bring a lunch from home or the money to pay for school meals. YEARBOOKS WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO ANY STUDENT WHO OWES MONEY. Any unpaid balances will be turned over to Bonneville Collections. any questions concerning your student's account, please call the lunch room at 801-476-5205.

Lost and Found—We have many items in our Lost and Found bin. If you have lost a coat, hat, backpack or other items, please come take a look and see if we can find a home for some of these missing items.

Valley View Blog—Help your child keep their minds working during the summer and visit our blog @ www.valleyviewelementary.blogspot.com. There you will find links to educational websites for language arts, math, science, and social studies.
